WHAT WE DO
Ou goal is to provide emotional support and first hand information to families living with neurobehavioral diagnoses. We hope to be a refuge during crisis and a lighthouse during times of hard decisions.
Emotional Support
We actively listen to you concerns, fears, hopes and dreams and we do so with the utmost respect and compassion. We believe that there is a special type of healing that can take place when we hear the stories of other parents who have lived through similar situations. The validation and normalization of feelings, thoughts and situations that nobody else could provide you before is finally here. While we are not certified counselors, our understanding comes from having lived similar situations or the fact that we might face them in our future.
Safe Place
Rest assured that nothing that you say will make us think that you failed as a parent or that your situation is too crazy, sad, dangerous or impossible to be real. There are no judgments here and anything you share will always remain confidential. Here you can truly say how you are feeling or what you are thinking. No need to hold it together so people don’t get upset, scared, down or desperate.
